What is HiFULDM?

HiFULDM is a face lifting and skin remodelling non-invasive Ultrasound skin management program that originated in South Korea. The treatment involves HiFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) and HiLDM (high-intensity local dynamic micro-massage) technologies. 

  • The HiFU technology is like Ultherapy. However, unlike Ultherapy, it involves less pain and is more affordable and effective. It is a high-tech procedure that targets accurately at deep skin fibers and utilizes ultrasound waves to produce a thermal coagulation zone. At this zone, a high thermal reaction occurs, which causes the contraction of the SMAS layer and collagen remodeling to deliver skin tightening and lifting effects. The procedure tightens skin, making sagging facial lines appear slimmer, sharper, and tighter. The procedure is quick and painless, with no incision and no downtime. 


  • Treatment will be done together with LDM (local dynamic micro-massage) to maximize the result. LDM is a mechanical wave treatment. It uses thermic, mechanical, and biochemical technology to promote blood circulation, tighten connective tissue, and improve skin elasticity. The LDM is also a moisture-lifting procedure. It balances GAGs (Glycosaminoglycans) in the skin. Therefore, it helps increase skin moisture and raises the skin barrier's capability. It gives immediate hydrating and skin rejuvenation effects. The Ceutisome Fusion Shot, ampoule, and booster targeted at specific skin concerns will be applied before LDM application to enhance treatment results.

  • Improvement in the skin is generally seen after the first session. Most patients notice visible brightening and increased firmness of the skin, improved skin texture, improved hydration, and reduced symptoms of their skin conditions, including acne, eczema, fine lines, and wrinkles.


  • HiFU may only be appropriate for some. The procedure generally works best on people older than 25 with mild-to-moderate skin laxity. People with photo-damaged skin or a high degree of loose skin may need several treatments before seeing results. Or they may require a combination of anti-aging methods (such as combined with injections and surgery). HIFU isn't recommended for people with infections, open skin lesions in the target area, severe or cystic acne, or metallic implants in the treatment area.

  • Depending on the skin condition and treatment plan, a weekly or bi-weekly session is recommended. Six sessions over three months, with an appropriate home care regimen tailored to skin needs, are recommended for optimal results.

  •  HiFULDM can be used on the neck area to reduce wrinkles, except for the thyroid area. HiLDM can also be done on the lymph node area, as it helps with lymph circulation. However, HiFU should not be used on lymph areas.

  • Yes, since the HiFU releases focused ultrasonic energy to a certain depth in the skin (1.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.5mm, 6.0mm), it is suggested to avoid areas with thin skin layers such as the eye area and nose.


  • It can be used around the eyes, like the outer corner of the eyes. Mainly, it helps to reduce the crow's feet around the eyes as it stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis of skin cells.
